I enjoyed this far more than I should have.

Lessons Learned:

5) Holding all else constant, decreasing shutter speed will brighten an overall scene. (but will also increase the need to be steady!)
6) Low quality lighting will give photos an unattractive tint (now I understand the need for flash gels)

Lessons Learned:
1) For animals use a high shutter speed and shoot in continuous mode.
2) Keep in mind while in continuous mode, that you will have to delete those 5 or 6 multiples of the same photo later.
3) It doesn’t matter that my camera can increase shutter speed to 1/1 million because the rest of the settings cannot keep up with it.
4) The free version of Flickr is insufficient for me.
