About Me

This blog is my 365 project. Every day for the next year, I will pick my favorite photo taken that day to post. (I also have a flickr gallery of the honorable mentions of the day) My goal is to learn. Additionally, I am currently making plans and gathering supplies for a conceptual photographic art project, which will take several months to complete. I will be sharing those as they are completed.

I have always had ideas and images in my head that I wanted to share with the world. I have had a camera in my hand, more or less, since I was about 14. It wasn’t until recently that I realized I could put these two things together. I have recently started paying more attention to the technical aspects of photography; shutter speed, aperture, lighting, etc. and hope to learn and improve through this. I am finding that I really enjoy photography and it is quickly becoming an obsession in the greatest possible way. I would be happy doing this for a living some day. For the time being though my goal is to enjoy photography, improve, and learn!
